I forgot to mention it in the last post, but while we were in PA we had the chance to take the whole family to Knoebel's!  Matt has always talked about it, but I had never been.  Nash was in LOVE with the place, and went until he dropped (literally melting down as we left the park).  We had so much fun watching him have so much fun....and we were able to sneak in a few coaster rides too!

Quinn's Baptism

Last weekend we packed up and took our first plane ride as a family of four...we flew to Pennsylvania to get Quinn baptized.  The entire Murphy crew was able to come, and Grandma and Pa were able to make the trip from Indiana.  It was so good to have everyone in the same place.  Our good friend from PSU, John Nabavi, is Quinn's godfather and Matt's cousin Jill is is Quinn's godmother.  It was a great weekend, and we were so blessed to be able to share such a special weekend with everyone!  Matt's parents graciously hosted a reception at a bar/grill after the ceremony, so everyone was able to love on Quinner for a little longer.  So many family friends were able to come and meet Q for the first time - what a fun weekend all around! God bless you baby Quinn!  We love you and are so lucky to be your parents!

"Baycation!" (Dauphin Island 2012)

Over Memorial Day and the week following, we loaded everyone (minus R-dog) in the van and headed down to hang out in the sand and the sun with some of our best buds the O'Neals and the Thompsons.  Leading up the trip, we talked about the vacation a lot, but Nash could never quite get the "V" sound down...so "baycation" it was!

The boys were great on the trip for the most part, and we had a great time.  Nash was fearless in the water, loved building smashing sand castles, and finding/chasing/racing sand crabs!  It was such treat to watch him enjoy himself so much....he played to the point of exhaustion every.single.day.  Quinn was still a bit too little to be in the sun and didn't appreciate the sand too much - so Matt and I rotated time with him on the porch or inside with him.  Nash's first beach trip was also to Dauphin Island back in 2010...so it was fun to relive those memories too!
